Rainforest Green Marble is a striking Indian natural stone celebrated for its deep green colour and dramatic brown veining. Branching patterns spread organically across the surface like tree roots and a dense forest canopy, giving every slab a distinctive appearance filled with natural movement and character. Sourced from Vidhasar in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan, India, it is also widely known as Bidasar Green Marble. Although commercially sold as marble, the stone is technically a serpentinite, a metamorphic natural stone valued for its distinctive structure and durable character.
Its rich green background is contrasted by strong brown veins, sometimes accompanied by subtle white or lighter mineral accents. The direction, density and intensity of the veining vary naturally between blocks, ensuring that each slab has its own unique visual character. Rainforest Green can also be book-matched to create continuous mirrored patterns across feature walls, large surfaces and other statement applications.
